Coming from Maitland in the Hunter Valley, Oliver graduated with a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws from the University of Newcastle in 2014. He was admitted as a solicitor in the NSW Supreme Court in 2015.
Oliver joined GMP Contesting a Will Lawyers in 2015, working under senior lawyer David Cossalter in the area of Contested Wills. He feels strongly that advocacy in this area is important because of the difference it can make to people’s lives. Oliver is a member of the NSW Law Society, the NSW Young Lawyers Association, the Parramatta & District Law Society, and the NSW Society of Labour Lawyers.
Oliver enjoys working closely with all of his clients, many of whom are unjustly left out of their loved one’s will.
An effective communicator, he is particularly receptive to the needs of those from regional and rural areas, those struggling with financial hardship and those suffering from mental illness.
Outside of work, Oliver is a proud member of the NSW Labour Party. He enjoys good coffee and playing his Fender Jazz bass.
